Warwick residents have been told to make sure their bins are out early on Monday (September 19) with collections due to start earlier due to the bank holiday for Queen Elizabeth II's funeral.

Warwick District Council has confirmed that waste collections and other essential services will still run on the bank holiday but said there will be a pause from 11am while the funeral service is taking place.

Residents have been warned that collections will start very early on Monday morning and that any streets or areas that are missed will be picked up on the following day.

Further updates on the district's arrangements for the period of national mourning are available on the Warwick District Council website.
