This November, Playbox Theatre returns with a bold new staging of Sophocles' Electra.

Presented in an immersive arena format, the production places the audience at the heart of a storm of grief, vengeance, and rebellion.

Leading the company is Eve Hatz in the title role, delivering a performance of fierce intensity and emotional depth.

She is joined by a dynamic ensemble of Playbox actors, including Sam Almond as Strophius, Lucy Griffiths as Clytemnestra, Conor Davis as Orestes and Pendo Goma as Chrysothemis.

The company's drive and passion brings fresh urgency and raw power to one of the greatest dramas of the ancient world.

Electra continues Playbox's acclaimed series of Greek tragedies reimagined for contemporary audiences.

Each production seeks to explore our modern world through the lens of these timeless stories, where questions of justice, fate, corruption and power remain as urgent today as they were in antiquity.

Adding a haunting dimension to the experience are the recorded voices of Playbox Theatre guests and alumni, including Sophie Turner and Sinead Keenan, alongside Grace Darling, Nancy Farino, Chris McGill, Ralph Davis,

Josh McGuire and Alfie Jones. Their voices will echo across The Dream Factory's cavernous space, weaving past and present into a resonant Prologue.

Electra performs at The Dream Factory in Warwick from 6 November to 8 November 2025, with tickets from £10.

Book via the Playbox Theatre website.
