Major discounts are to be had at a Warwick art gallery as it prepares to close after more than three decades in the town.

AE Contemporary Art has announced a closing down sale, with the Swan Street shop to shut for the final time in April 2025.

Signs in the window say "all stock must go".

While a notice on the company's website says the sale is bringing and end to 35 years in Warwick for owner Alan Elkin.

"As the internet takes over, the high street has had its day, like the phone box [a reference to a painting shared on the website] we are no longer wanted, and when it's all gone people will moan, but I won't care as I am dribbling away in my care home.

"My bus pass arrives in 2025, I can take a hint, sale on until April 2025."

See the website here.

AE Contemporary Art was approached for comment.
