In the past year, the Polish Centre Leamington (PCL) says it has dedicated itself to fostering a vibrant and supportive environment.
The centre aim to show an outstanding commitment to every member of their community, and an exceptional care for those out of it.
It kicked 2023 off by raising money to send 14 ambulances to Ukraine, in partnership with LKQ Euro Car Parts and local residents alike.
Much needed medical support was provided to Ukrainians affected by the ongoing war, showing compassion and solidarity that transcends borders.
Matt Western, MP for Warwick and Leamington and 'local champion', showed his commitment to the community by becoming one of the designated drivers for the ambulances.
A Polish Centre statement explained: "This collaborative effort not only showcased the generosity of our community but also made a tangible difference in providing essential medical support to those in need.
"The project stands as a testament to the power of collective action, with the ambulances becoming symbols of compassion."
It will take place every Sunday as a community outreach programme that the PCL are opening to celebrate all that they have done - and will continue to do this year.
The sessions will commence on Sunday 14 January 2024, from 11.30am to 1pm.
The centre's aim is to provide a welcoming space for connections, shared experiences and community engagement, in their ongoing commitment to support the local community.
"We are entering 2024 with a sense of accomplishment and anticipation. The Warm Hub represents our commitment to fostering connections within our community," says Dawid Kozlowski, Secretary at the Polish Centre Leamington.
