Two people were arrested in Warwick yesterday (August 1) on suspicion of drink driving.

A 35-year-old woman from Warwick was arrested on suspicion of drink driving following a two vehicle collision in Browning Ave, Warwick in the early hours of this morning.

While a 53-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of drink driving after officers stopped a driver for being on his mobile phone in Shelley Avenue in the early hours of this morning.

The two are among seven people arrested across Warwickshire last night on drink or drug related offences.

Arrests also included a 20-year-old man from Redditch on suspicion of drink driving after officers spotted a speeding car on the A46 near Kenilworth.
