Step forward in plans for new Five Guys

Five Guys has been given a boost in its plans to open its new takeaway at Leamington Shopping Park.
The fast food giant has been given the green light for a series of signs at the new unit which has been built alongside a new KFC drive thru.
The two eateries have replaced a former Frankie & Benny's which was demolished last year.
The latest application to Warwick District Council said: "The application site is an existing retail park with numerous commercial occupants with their own specific branding throughout the retail park.
"The proposed signage should be considered in this context and should therefore be considered as compatible with the existing commercial and leisure setting.
"The overall design has been carefully considered to ensure it sits comfortably with the host building as well as the wider area.
"Principally, the design and placement of the proposed advertisements has been done with full and careful consideration of the approved signage areas."

An opening date for the Five Guys and KFC are yet to be confirmed - both companies have been hiring for staff.
The application continued: "Overall, the proposed design, scale, illumination levels and siting of all proposed advertisements are considered to be appropriate at this site and necessary to the effective operation of the Five Guys restaurant and drive thru.
"It is considered that as a result of the proposals, the approved restaurant and drive thru unit will be brought into economic and employment generating use to the benefit of the wider retail park."
Signing off on the application, a council report said: "It is considered that the proposal would not detract from the amenity of the area and would not be detrimental to public safety.
"The proposal is therefore considered to comply with the policies listed and should be granted."
