Here are our top picks this week:

1. Smith Street Christmas Market

Following the huge success of the annual Smith Street Summer Party in Warwick, which attracts thousands of visitors to the town each July, the beloved Warwick high street is set to sparkle once again.

This time, it is with the launch of a brand-new festive event The Smith Street Christmas Market.

The event will take place on Saturday 6 December 2025 and run from 10am to 5pm.

The market will transform Smith Street into a magical, traffic-free winter wonderland filled with independent stalls, festive food and drink, music, and family-friendly activities.

Organised by CJ's Events Warwickshire in collaboration with the independent businesses of Smith Street, the event will also form part of the nationwide Small Business Saturday celebrations, championing the importance of shopping local and supporting small businesses in the run-up to Christmas.

Hannah, a local business owner and one of the event organisers said: "The Smith Street Summer Party has become a highlight of Warwick's calendar, bringing an estimated 5,000–7,000 people to the street in a single day.

"We wanted to carry that same community energy into the festive season — giving people another reason to visit, shop local, and experience the magic of Smith Street at Christmas."
