Here are our top picks for the coming days:

1. Throwback Festival

Warwick town centre will be "bursting with nostalgia" this weekend as the Throwback Festival returns to Market Square on Sunday 29 June between 11am and 4pm, promising a "fantastic, feel-good day for all the family".

From 1940s wartime classics to the rock 'n' roll energy of the 1950s, through to swinging 60s hits and funky 70s anthems, the festival will feature live performances on stage throughout the day, bringing four decades of music to life in the heart of Warwick.

Alongside the music, visitors can enjoy a vibrant arts, crafts and local produce market, perfect for browsing unique gifts, handmade items and tasty treats from talented local traders.

Organised by CJ's Events Warwickshire, the free event will also be a range of street food and bars.

2. Summer Arts Weeks

Local artists Janette Eslick is opening her studio this week as part of the Summer Art Weeks festival.

She said: "Drop in to my garden art gallery to browse my art, meet our friendly bantams and stay for a drink, sweet treat and chat! All part of Warwickshire Open Studios Summer Arts Weeks.

"There will be a range of cards, prints, canvases, framed acrylic boards and framed watercolours for sale. Plus I will be happy to get any prints framed and delivered locally after the event. Plants and knitted gifts will also be available for a donation to Priory Pools Community Centre."

3. Brewery Tour

And with our partners at the Windmill Hill Brewery, there is a chance to come and peek behind the curtain at this weekend's brewery tour.

The team said: "This is a two hour beer tasting session and brewery tour led by one of our brewers who will take you through a detailed overview of our equipment and brewing process from start to finish while you enjoy the beers brewed on site!"

It's just £25 per person.
