A new Indian restaurant is making its mark on the local community, less than a year of opening.

Royal Currys, on Emscote Road, has quickly gained popularity since launching late last year (2025), earning praise from customers for both its food and friendly service.

Owners told Nub News that the response from the community has been overwhelmingly positive, with a growing number of diners returning with friends and family.

The team said: "The launch of Royal Currys has been a very rewarding journey so far.

"We've been overwhelmed by the positive response from the local community, especially regarding the quality of our food and the overall dining experience.

"Like any new venture, there were initial challenges - particularly around managing high demand during peak times and fine-tuning our operations. However, these experiences have helped us grow stronger and more efficient as a team."

In a short time, the restaurant has established itself as a premium dining destination, expanded its menu, and introduced special occasion offerings.

Seasonal menus, including Christmas and Valentine's specials, have also proved popular, with themed nights and chef-led dishes set to launch in the coming months.

"We want to keep the experience fresh and exciting for our guests," the team higlighted.

Royal Currys also points to its strong team culture as a key part of its early success.

"Since opening, our team has grown both in size and experience. We're now more refined in our roles, with a stronger focus on consistency, service quality, and customer engagement."

Across the hospitality sector, competition continues to intensify, with diners increasingly seeking a complete experience that combines quality food, value, and service.

Royal Currys aims to stand out by 'blending authentic Indian cuisine with a modern dining approach, offering regional dishes prepared with fresh ingredients and traditional techniques, presented with a contemporary twist.'

The restaurant's approach appears to be paying off, with a 4.9-star rating from more than 500 Google reviews.
