It's been another busy year for one of Warwickshire's independent financial advisers.

Launched on the principles of independence and personalised service, Simpson Financial Services (SFS) works with individuals and businesses to help them reach their financial goals.

This year, the company, which is based in Leamington Spa, raised a total of £2,306 for seven different charities across five events.

May 2025

Towards the start of the year, SFS marked Mental Health Awareness Week by getting involved in May's 'wear it green day'.

The team raised £250 for the Mental Health Foundation in support of mental health initiatives across the UK.

July 2025

While the team is another year older, the July Charity Lawn Bowls event showed the SFS team are no better at playing lawn bowls - but, they do love to try their best...

The SFS annual fundraiser at Avenue Bowls Club returned with its usual array of team spirit, community mingling and essential fundraising for Helping Hands

This year's winning team - 'Only here to beat Rob' - may have taken home the prize, but the real goal of the day was to make a difference to the most vulnerable people in the local area.

A total of £630 was raised through the event, and SFS are already looking forward to returning next year!

September 2025

September saw the the return of the Dragon Boat Race, which, after last year's cancellation due to thunderstorms, saw the team 'Splash 'n' Cash' eager to finally take to the water!

The event, which took place in Warwick's St Nicholas Park, didn't disappoint!

With the support of friends, families and clients, SFS joined dozens of teams to raise money for Myton Hospice and Birmingham Children's Hospital, with the event raising over £18,000.

In the same month, four of the SFS team then bravely took on the Coventry Cathedral abseil for Myton Hospice.

Sophie, Zoe, Alex and Chris took on the challenge, which involved climbing up to the top of Coventry Cathedral (90ft high) and abseiling down for charity.

A phenomenal £1316 between them was raised for Myton Hospice, helping the charity reach their goal of £60,000 in a single day.

October 2025

And last, but by no means least, for the second year in a row, the SFS team dug out their best pink attire and took on Breast Cancer Now's big pink quiz.

The team threw in a pink bake off for good measure.

The sugar-fuelled fun helped the team raise £110 towards life-changing breast cancer research, with Zoe crowned star baker with her seriously impressive macarons!

The SFS team shared: "A big thank you to all our clients, partners and suppliers for another great year - we will see you in the new year."
