1. Warwick Mop
The historic Warwick Mop is returning to the town this weekend.
Warwick is set to welcome fairground attractions with plenty of rides to enjoy across the town centre and surrounding streets, with the fun kicking off on Friday, 16 October, from 5pm.
The annual event, which is said to date back to the reign of Edward III, is hosted on the Friday and Saturday following the 12 of October, with the 'Runaway Mop' held the following Friday and Saturday.
A full list of road closures has been announced to allow the event to take place. The list can be found here.
2. Castle Ceilidh
At Warwick Castle, you can enjoy an evening of music, dance, and fun while you immerse yourself in the Great Hall with a live Ceilidh band.
This event is suitable for beginners and children.
Attendees are advised to bring comfortable shoes to dance in!
Tickets include a fun evening of medieval ceilidh dancing in the Great Hall with the castle's resident ceilidh band.
A bar will also be available for guests to purchase drinks throughout the evening.

3. Beer festival
Nearby in Leamington, crowds are expected to gather for the return of Leamington Beer Festival 2026.
Hosted in collaboration with Windmill Hill Brewery and Taproom, this year's event will take place from 15 to 18 October.
The festival will also support Myton Hospice, with funds raised helping it continue supporting patients receiving end-of-life care.
The Windmill Hill team shared: "We celebrate Warwickshire brewing with craft beer from around the county in support of Myton Hospice.
"Meet the brewer, drain the brewery!"
Kicking off the festival, on Thursday, 15 October, from 6 pm, the evening will run until 10pm. On Friday, from 4pm to 11pm there will be live music and Greek street food. And over the weekend, on Saturday, the event will run from 1pm to 11pm with Mesa Americana and Pink Indian food. The festival will then end on Sunday at 8pm with samosas and 'Drink Brewery Dry' cask.
Speaking on April's festival, Taproom Manager Ben Cowan shared: "We thought that we might be onto something. Every self-respecting provincial town needs a beer festival, especially a Spa town, like Leamington."
Tickets are now on sale and can be secured here.
