1. Enjoy Warwick's very own beach at The Big Summer Market

A beach is coming to Warwick this bank holiday weekend. 

CJ's Events Warwickshire is bringing The Big Summer Market to The Market Square this upcoming Monday (25 August).

The free event will run from 11am to 4pm with one of the highlights for families being the Mini Beach – the perfect spot for little ones to play and parents to relax.

The beach will feature buckets and spades for plenty of sandcastle fun and deckchairs so visitors can sit back and soak up the summer vibes.

Organisers said: "Get ready for an exciting day out this August Bank Holiday Monday at The BIG Summer Market in Market Square! It's going to be an incredible event, perfect for the whole family to enjoy.

"We are thrilled to announce that The BIG Summer Market will showcase a fantastic variety of arts, crafts, and locally-produced goods. 

From handmade treasures to unique artwork, you'll find it all at our stalls.

"Indulge in a world of flavours, from Indian street food to delightful desserts."

2. Horticultural and Allotment Show 2025

Also taking place this bank holiday weekend is Warwick's Horticultural & Allotment Show 2025.

The show will run from Sunday 24 and Monday 25 August 2025 at Court House and Pageant Garden, Jury Street, Warwick.

Visitors can expect two days of flowers, crafts, produce, and community fun. 

The show opens at 10.30am on both days and is wheelchair accessible.

Entry is free for WHAS members and £1 for non-members.

Organisers said: "Come and celebrate the beauty of gardening and creativity!"

3. Celebrate Onam with Fusion Clan

Warwick eatery, Fusion Clan, is celebrating Onam, an annual harvest and Hindu cultural festival celebrated mostly by the people of Kerala.

A major annual event for Keralites, it is the official festival of the state and includes a spectrum of cultural events.

The Onam Sadhya is a grand, traditional vegetarian feast served on a banana leaf during the Onam festival in Kerala, India. It's a multi-course meal featuring a variety of dishes, including rice, curries, pickles, and desserts, each with its unique flavour and significance.

The Sadhya is a celebration of Kerala's rich culinary heritage and is a significant part of the Onam festivities. 

In celebration of the event, Fusion Clan is offering a special vegetarian feast for lunch on both Friday and Saturday for Onam.

Individuals can enjoy 24 items for £24.95 per person.

4. Off the Rails returns 

Nearby in Leamington, the second Off the Rails Arches event is set to take place this Sunday (24 August 2025).

Hosted by the Warwickshire Gin Company, Windmill Hill Brewery, Brubl Brewery and the Southbound Café bar, the event will take place under the arches from 1pm to 10pm at the Victoria Business Centre on Neilston Street, in Leamington Spa. 

Guests can look forward to drinks and street food from local eateries along with live music.

The return of Off the Rails follows the first instalment, which took place earlier this year, in May.

Organisers wrote: "Come join us for a day of great food and drink at the Victoria Business Centre in Leamington Spa, UK! 

"Get ready to go off the rails and have a blast with friends and family.

"Enjoy beer from Brubl Brewery and Windmill Hill Brewery, or sip on gin & tonics, rum, vodka and cocktails from The Warwickshire Gin Company."
