Warwick eatery embracing the future with new augmented reality website

A Warwick eatery is embracing the changing world with the introduction of a new augmented reality (AR) menu.
Diners will be able to get an immersive view of what is in store at Fusion Clan, as the Smith Street eatery makes it easier for guests to explore dishes on its new-look website.
After months of work, the fusion restaurant is "proud" to launch the interactive site, which showcases the huge range on the menu.
The technology allows you to see portion sizes, colours and presentation from the comfort of your own home - giving new guests a real insight into what a night at Fusion Clan includes.
And for regulars, the AR website gives them a chance to get up close with dishes on the menu they are yet to sample.
"While traditional dining remains at the heart of our experience, we're adding a tool to enhance decision-making and the customer experience," co-owner Aby Joseph told Nub News.
"As AR evolves, future possibilities may include more interactive ways to explore food.
"This is a first for Warwick, and we're excited to share it with you!"

The exciting AR announcement comes just weeks after Fusion Clan celebrated its first anniversary.
The Smith Street eatery opened for the first time in January 2024, bringing a taste of Kerala and its world-famous spices to the town.
Since then it has become a popular fixture in the local culinary scene and is celebrating its first major milestone with a number of exciting announcements.
The New Street eatery is run by Aby, Thomas P Mathew and chef Joshi Johny who - with over 20 years experience in kitchens in the UK - has curated the restaurant's special menu.
And for those who are yet to visit Fusion Clan, Aby explained what diners can expect.
"We are truly offering something completely different here; we are not your typical western curry house," he said.
"Our extensive menu has a huge range on offer - from Indian fusion twists on popular western dishes to traditional Keralan cuisine.
"There is something here for everyone."
