Delays are expected on a busy Warwick road for up to a week for works on a pedestrian crossing.

Two-way traffic lights will be installed on High Street on Tuesday 12 November Warwickshire County Council has confirmed.

The local authority's website says the works are "to upgrade pedestrian signals equipment".

Works will take place between 9.30am and 3.30pm.

The footpaths will not be closed.

While the closure could last for up to a week, the council's website says it expects the work to be completed on November 15.
