Priory Area Community Committee and Warwick District Council invite residents to Priory Pools Park community event

Residents are invited to join the Packmore Jubilee Fun Day on Saturday 4 June as part of Warwick's platinum jubilee celebrations.

The event, which is set to be opened by the Mayor of Warwick, at Priory Pools Park.

The mayor will also be judging the the Children's 'Best Homemade Crown' competition in a day packed with community fun.

There will also be a barbecue, run by Saltisford Church, a Bake Off competition, bouncy castle and bungee run.

Arts and crafts will be run throughout the day for children to make bunting to take home.

The event is fully funded by the Priory Area Community Committee and Warwick District Council.

Organisers said: "The Priory Area Community Committee has teamed up with WDC to organise an amazing fun packed day for all the family to enjoy.

"So if you live within Coten End/The Priory/The Packmores/The Cape, please come down and join us!

"We are also having a best dressed house and a Jubilee cake contest.

"We are even hoping to live stream the days events from London onto one of the houses."

The event will run from 1pm to 4pm on Saturday, June 4.

On Thursday, June 2 there will also be the main town centre celebrations, organised by Warwick Town Council.
