The driver of a car which was reportedly driven towards a teacher outside a school in Warwick is being sought after by police.

The incident took place at 8.30am this morning (24 September) on Shelley Avenue.

According to reports, the car, a black Ford Fiesta, was driven towards the teacher. The driver then made threats towards pupils at the school.

Police have confirmed there were no injuries and that there is no believed risk to other schools or businesses in the area. School staff have also assured the students and staff members remain safe and secure, with lessons continuing as normal.

Officers will be patrolling the area throughout the course of the day and are in the process of locating the driver.

Individuals with information that can support the location of the driver are advised to inform police as soon as possible referencing Incident 69 of 24 September.
