Plot of land next to A46 still on the market

A plot of land along the A46 in South Warwickshire remains on the market, and has been for nearly a year.
Nub News reported last May the piece of land next to the BP petrol station on the northbound carriageway of the road on the edge of Warwick was for sale.
On the market with Innes England the 3.83 acre patch of land was listed with a guide price of £250,000 per acre.

The advert now has a guide price of £600,000 to £775,000.
The property agent says the land has a variety of potential uses - subject to planning permission.
"The site comprises greenfield land adjacent to an existing BP petrol filling station and Starbucks Drive Thru on the southern side of the services," the advert says.
"The site has a prominent c.315ft frontage to the A46 and is accessed via the existing PFS."

Innes England also says 31,000 cars pass the site on average per day along the northbound carriageway.
"There are a number of key trading locations surrounding Warwick including Tournament Fields, Budbrooke and Wedgnock Industrial Estates," the listing adds.
"These estates include a number of national occupiers including Volvo, West Midlands Ambulance Service, McDonalds, Euro Car Parts and IBM.
"The southbound services are opposite the site with occupiers including BP, M&S Simply Food with Wild Bean Cafe concession and a Starbucks drive thru."
