Council planners have given the green light to plans for solar panels at a Warwick primary school.
Woodloes Primary School has been given planning permission for PV panels with a capacity of 73.95 kWp to be installed.
Warwick District Council has given the go-ahead for the Deansway school just weeks after funding was announced for the project.
Approving the application, a council report said: "The existing building is a large single-storey flat roofed building that is utilitarian in its design and appearance.
"In this context it is not considered that the proposed solar PV installation would result in development which adversely affects the character and appearance of the building or the surrounding area."
Woodloes Primary School is set to take a slice of a £100 million pot for the works, alongside other schools, NHS and military sites.
