A busy Warwick road will be closed overnight on multiple days this January for resurfacing works.

The overnight works will take place on A425 Banbury Road at Castle Bridge.

The closures will run from 8pm to 6am from Sunday 18 January to Wednesday 21 January.

Warwickshire County Council's website confirms the closure is for "carriageway surfacing works".

Access to the neighbouring homes will be maintained.

"There is also a suspension of the 7.5t (environmental) weight restriction between West Street and Jury Street, Warwick," the notice said.
