Nine-week-old German Shepheard Kaos is the latest recruit at Warwickshire Police.

The force announced the new four-legged team member in a post on social media today (October 25).

"Everyone meet Kaos - one of the force's newest recruits," Warwickshire Police wrote.

"At nine weeks old, he's certainly our youngest!

"One day he will be a big strong boy, highly-trained and ready to tackle anyone who would harm our residents or his colleagues.

"But right now, he likes tennis balls, nee naw lights and belly rubs.

"We're sure we speak for you all when we wish him the best of luck."
