Nine businesses in Warwick have been nominated for regional awards which recognise the work of local firms.

The businesses have been named across ten different categories in the 'Muddy Awards 2022' which opened for voting today.

Warwick Castle is nominated in two categories - best family attraction and best wedding venue.

Organised for the ninth time by online guide Muddy Stilettos Warwickshire and West, the awards shortlist five different businesses in each of 27 categories.

Categories cover best beauty salon to best children's business and all the finalists have been nominated by the public.

The Warwick finalists are:

  • Best Bookshop: Warwick Books.
  • Best Children's Business: The Mud Club.
  • Best Day Spa: Ardencote.
  • Best Destination Pub: No. 34 Garden & Grill.
  • Best Family Attraction: Warwick Castle.
  • Best Hair Salon: Nash White.
  • Best New Lifestyle Start-up: Olim.
  • Best Photographer: S2 Images.
  • Best Wedding Venue: Warwick Castle.
  • Best Women's Fashion Store: NV Her.

Hatton Adventure World was also nominated for best family attraction whilst the Hatton Arms was shortlisted in the best destination pub category.

Sponsored by Birmingham Airport, voting will remain open until July 15, with the winners announced on June 21 and invited to a private awards party.

Each winner will also receive a window rosette, a certificate, a rosette for its website, and all the publicity that comes with it.
