The landlord of a popular canalside pub is on the lookout for a new tenant.

Owner Wells & Co. is looking for a new pub partner to take on the "friendly and traditional" village pub, The Two Boats in Long Itchington.

The company said the venue offers "a holiday feel" but also hosts regular community events including bingo and quizzes.

It is also set for a minor exterior refurbishment to help attract more customers.

Wells & Co. said: "Situated in a prominent position by the main road and on the cycle path route, this pub is perfect for walkers, cyclists and boats with a lovely opportunity for people watching with benches set out on the canal path.

"There is also planned new signage to help improve the kerb appeal.

"This business is suited for an experienced couple who are passionate about getting involved with the local community and passing visitors alike.

"There is also a great potential to build on the food offer at the pub, so for any budding chefs out there, this would be the ideal business opportunity."

The company is also looking for a new tenant at The Cottage Inn in Kenilworth, having put an end to rumours last month that the pub would be reopening.

More information can be found on the company's website here.
