New Japanese café opens in Warwick

A new Japanese café has opened in the centre of Warwick.
Sunrise Coffee held a 'soft opening' at its new Swan Street location last week, and is now open fully to customers following an official opening on Tuesday 15 April.
As well as serving single origin coffee, the town centre spot also stocks a range of baked goods, snacks and matcha.
The matcha uses "premium" powder sourced from Yame, Japan "celebrated for its intense aroma and bold, smooth flavour. An ideal choice for both drinks and desserts."
Adorned with its bright yellow branding, Sunrise Coffee has taken over the unit previously home to AE Contemporary Art which recently closed after 35 years in town.
The baked options include Shokupan - a Japanese-style bread made using low-temperature fermentation.
"We're right in the heart of Warwick – just a short stroll from the historic Market Place and Warwick Castle," the website said.
"Whether you're exploring town or popping by on your way to work, we're easy to find and always happy to see you!"
The shop front has already been painted yellow, and an application has also been submitted to Warwick District Council for new signs to be installed.
Nub News has approached Sunrise Coffee for more information.
