A new charity shop has officially opened its doors in Warwick after hosting its launch event on Friday (July 26).

Relate's charity shop had its official launch, with special guests Ffion Griffith, Chair of Relate and Jeryl Stone, National Chair of the NFWI there to cut the ribbon.

The new Market Place shop is being run in partnership with the Warwickshire Federation of Women's Institutes.

Relate offers relationship counselling, family, children and young people's counselling services in Warwick and beyond.

"Shopping in Relate charity shops helps fund essential work in your community," the team said.

The opening event included a number of speeches as well as food and drink!

Relate has opened its doors in the former Show Home store in the centre of town.

The charity says it "often attracts high-value donations, including vintage and retro items".
