The Myton Hospices is celebrating its 40th anniversary this May at this year's Walk for Myton.

The sponsored walk starts and ends at Warwick Myton Hospice on May 8 and costs just £5 for adults and £3 for children.

Participants can choose between three different routes, a casual 3 mile stroll, a more challenging 6 mile walk or a 12 mile hike for those looking to push themselves.

Those taking part can set off anytime between 8.30am and 10am and will be given a limited edition Myton 40th anniversary candle.

After the charity walk there will then be a range of family entertainment, a BBQ and bar at in the grounds of the Myton Lane hospice.

Last year, despite the challenges of Covid-19, Myton supported 1,400 people and their families across its three hospices.

The charity is hoping to raise £10,000 in sponsorship from the event to fund an inpatient bed for three weeks.

Anybody who raises £50 or more will receive a limited edition Myton Terracotta Plant Pot and Forget Me Not Seeds.

And the walk is also a chance to remember loved ones whilst helping to raise vital funds for Myton to continue its important work across Coventry and Warwickshire.
