Matt Western, MP for Warwick and Leamington has shared a message reflecting on Remembrance Sunday which took place on 9 November 2025.

Reflecting upon the day, he said: "Remembrance Sunday will always serve as a poignant reminder of the enormous and ultimate sacrifice so many gave to protect our freedoms.

Each year, I am reminded of the huge many who left our towns and villages and never returned home to our shores and their homes. We honour and remember them. 

 It was a privilege to lay a cross of remembrance in the Remembrance Garden in Parliament on behalf of our towns and villages and join the powerful service in Leamington over the weekend. 

To those that served and paid the ultimate sacrifice, we will forever remember you."
