More road closures have been announced for Warwick town centre following the Commonwealth Games coming to town last weekend.

July saw four weeks of closures to remove the road furniture ahead of last Sunday's Birmingham 2022 cycling road races.

Following the day of sporting action, Warwickshire County Council has announced a number of road closures to put the road furniture back.

WCC has announced the following closures:

  • Sunday 21 August – Saltisford
  • Wednesday 24 – Friday 26 August (inclusive) – Jury Street
  • Sunday 28 August - Northgate

The road races saw thousands of spectators line the streets as some of the best riders in the world came to Warwick.
