Medieval axe and fake gun seized after police chase in Warwick

A fake gun, three swords and a medieval axe were all seized by police after a car chase in Warwick.

At around 8.20pm on Monday (August 11) officers chased a vehicle which failed to stop in the town, following it to the suspect's home address.

Officers "had cause to enter" their home and when inside seized three swords, two 'push daggers', the double-sided medieval axe and the imitation firearm.

A man was arrested on suspicion of driving over the drug limit, failing to stop, driving without a licence, driving without insurance, possession of an offensive weapon in a private dwelling and possession of an imitation firearm.

Police said the investigation continues.
