Warwick's mayor was among the special guests invited to celebrate the opening of a new housing development in the town.
Mayor of Warwick Cllr Simon Pargeter cut the ribbon to mark the official launch of William Davis at Warwick, currently being built on land off Gallows Hill, east of the town centre.
William Davis Homes is building 180 new properties on its site, where the developer has just opened the doors to three showhomes as part of the wider scheme, at an event hosted by William Davis on Thursday, 24 September.
The housebuilder will deliver a range of two to five-bedroom homes on the land, with views from the site reaching past the River Avon towards Warwick Castle.
Guy Higgins, managing director of William Davis Homes, said: "Our launch event to mark the official opening of William Davis at Warwick was a great success, and we're very grateful to Mayor Pargeter for helping us to celebrate the occasion and to everyone who joined us on the day.
"This development represents an exciting new chapter for William Davis as we bring our homes to Warwick for the first time.
"With as many as three new showhomes now open and available for visitors to explore, we're really looking forward to welcoming people to William Davis, bringing our 90-plus years of industry experience to this part of the West Midlands."
William Davis invited the Mayor to help them launch the new development, along with special guests from Warwick-based businesses and partners of the housebuilder, as well as its own in-house team.
