Locals gathered in Pageant Garden on Sunday (May 7) to continue the celebrations for the King's coronation.

Following the party in Market Square the day before, The Guy of Warwick Society hosted the 'Coronation Pageant', as part of the nationwide series of Coronation Big Lunch events, the next day.

The free event ran all afternoon, featuring a specially commissioned performance by The Slaughterhouse Players and accompanied by the renowned local Folk rock act Wychwood.

The garden was opened for locals to bring a picnic and join in the coronation fun.

Photographs sent to Nub News by resident Geoff Ousbey show locals out enjoying the sun on Sunday.
