Warwickshire Police's Safer Neighbourhood Team are inviting women who work or live in the town on a walk in solidarity against violence to women and girls.

The walk will take place today (Monday 22 December) and run from 6pm until 7pm.

Starting at St Nicholas Park Café, Warwick, the route is mostly flat and walking through some of St Nicholas Park and Priory Park.

Under 14's must be accompanied by an adult on a walk around Warwick which will span approximately two miles and take around an hour

Warwickshire Police said: "This walk is a good chance to get out, get active and tell the local team your thoughts and concerns on unsafe places in Warwick where you would not feel safe walking, whether that be parks, unlit areas etc and we can see if we can help the situation working with partner agencies.

"We will be providing information packs/alarms on the day (numbers permitting)."

Information packs and alarms will be provided on the day, subject to availability.

Participants are welcome to bring their dogs.
