Nationally-renowned Libertine Burger has come up with the perfect tipple to go with its burgers - launching its very own beer.
The Libertine Burger Pilsner has been created to complement the award-winning burgers served up by Libertine and is available at all three of its branches in Warwickshire.
Produced in partnership with Birmingham-based Attic Brew Co., the full-flavoured, premium quality lager uses Birmingham's unusually soft water to achieve a crisp yet sweet pilsner in the style of traditional Czech lager brewing.
This classic style balances spicy noble hops with sweet biscuit malts for the ultimate UK lager experience - perfect to serve up with Libertine's burgers, fries and sides.
The launch of the beer comes as part of the brand's fifth birthday celebrations, which have also seen it give one lucky Libertine lover the chance to win free burgers for a whole year.
The last five years have seen Libertine grow from a street food business operating out of a pimped-up Renault Master into a well-known brand with three sites in Leamington Spa, Rugby and Stratford-upon-Avon, as well as a bigger van that has put in appearances at some of the country's biggest festivals and exclusive events like Joe Wicks' birthday party.
Founder Charles Harris said: "Beer and burger is a classic combination and we wanted to come up with our very own beer that would complement our burgers and really make the perfect pairing.
"Our new Libertine Burger beer has been months in the making and we think we've done that. It's been great to collaborate with a fellow Midlands business to create a great-tasting session beer that is the perfect accompaniment to our burgers, fries and sides.
"We're already getting great feedback from both burger and beer lovers and can't wait for more people to try it."
Libertine offers a range of signature beef, chicken and vegan-friendly burgers. It puts provenance first, sourcing its beef from award-winning Warwickshire butchers Aubrey Allen. Libertine's own beer joins a range of alcoholic options on the menu, from canned wine to a range of beers, ciders and soft drinks.
The company also offers DIY kits so people across the UK can enjoy burgers in their own home. The kits are designed to be pocket friendly, without sacrificing on quality. Simple instructions tell you exactly how to prepare and cook your burgers, with the option of adding extras like house sides, sauces, and drinks.
