Images show extent of damage from Warwick house fire

Aerial images sent to Nub News have shown the extent of the damage caused by a fire in Warwick on Friday (August 8).

Fire crews were called to the incident on Mill Street at around 3pm, with four appliances called to the blaze.

Neighbouring properties were evacuated while firefighters dealt with the fire in the roof of a garage.

Crews remained at the scene into the evening, as the cause of the fire was investigated.

Firefighters at the scene told Nub News Banbury Road was temporarily closed to allow emergency services to control the incident.

The road was reopened once the blaze was under control.

Residents reported seeing a lot of smoke during the fire.
