A new HMO is set to open on a busy Warwick road following a decision by council planners.

A four-bedroom house is set to be converted in a six-bedroom shared home on Emscote Road.

JR Gill Investment LTD has been given the green light for the works at the three-storey property by Warwick District Council.

The application was approved under a 'lawful development certificcate' meaning a full planning application was not needed.

Plans show the HMO will have two bedrooms and a kitchen-diner on the ground floor, with the remaining bedrooms on the first floor.

The second floor would remain as office and storage space.

The council approved the plans this month.
