Works to demolish the district council's former headquarters and turn the land into homes is now underway.
Warwick District Council (WDC) transferred its Riverside House offices to Homes England at the start of April, weeks after planning permission for the redevelopment of the site was approved.
The local authority's planning committee gave the green light to the project - which will see the Milverton Hill site turned into 74 homes - in February.

Homes England will create an "enlarged public space" along the riverside at Elizabeth Park once the athletics track is moved.
"The new park will provide local residents with areas of wetland, a wildflower meadow and a new woodland as well as an extension of the riverside path, exercise trail and cycle track," WDC said.

Some "minor vegetation clearance" has taken place on site, and now demolition specialists are on site clearing away the old buildings.
Riverside House had been boarded up over the past few months to prevent "break-ins and unwanted anti-social behaviour".
The local authority vacated Riverside House in Leamington Spa in March 2024.
WDC said the move from Riverside House could save taxpayers up to £250,000 per year.
