Nine new canalside townhouses being built in Warwick are nearing completion and are still available to buy.

A year after Cotswold Oak Ltd began work on site, the 'Emscote Old Wharf' development is almost finished, with the show home now open.

Planning permission for the development alongside the Grand Union Canal was granted by Warwick District Council in 2019.

The site will also see four new canalside offices built which are currently on the market with property agent Peter Clarke.

The houses include a mix of two, three and four bed plots.

Cotswold Oak describes the site as "An outstanding development with a truly superior specification.

"From the individually designed kitchens in the heart of the home, to the bathrooms offering a sanctuary of calm, each individual property has premium quality features handpicked to reflect their magnificent surroundings."

A former hand car wash was demolished to make way for the houses early last year.

And as part of the scheme a new access road will be built off All Saints Road - closing the former entrance off Emscote Road.

Photographs sent to Nub News by local resident Geoff Ousbey show the work underway.
