Warwick District Council's Green Spaces team, in partnership with contractor Idverde, will be giving away free bedding plants next week as part of their sustainability and community outreach efforts.

The giveaways will take place from 9am to 4pm at Jephson Gardens in Leamington Spa on Tuesday, 20 May and St Nicholas Park in Warwick on Friday, 23 May.

Residents are invited to collect one bag of plants per person.

The plants being distributed are surplus from the parks, ensuring they don't go to waste for sustainability purposes.
