All lanes of the A46 have now reopened following a collision near Budbrooke.

National Highways had been reporting half-hour delays and four miles of queues on the southbound carriageway this morning (December 6) following the incident near the A425 junction.

But an update from the service says all lanes are now reopen and "traffic [is] flowing freely".

A Warwickshire Police statement said: "At 7:30am this morning, we were called to a single vehicle road traffic collision involving a grey Land Rover on the A46 Southbound between Kenilworth and Stratford.

"The car collided with the central reservation next to the exit slip road towards Budbrooke.

"This led to debris on the road and the temporary closure of one lane.

"The incident is being handled by National Highways. The driver was unharmed, and the road has now been cleared."
