Eight Warwick pubs are in the run for this year's CAMRA 2026 Pub of the Year.

Every year, all CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) branches nominate and vote for the favourite pubs in their area.

The winners then go on to the county, regional and finally, national awards.  

Voting is now open for the 2026 Pub of the Year, with following Warwick pubs in the running:

• Cape of Good Hope, Warwick
• Eagle, Warwick
• Four Penny Pub, Warwick
• New Bowling Green, Warwick
• Old Post Office, Warwick
• Railway Inn, Warwick
• Slaughterhouse Brewery Taproom, Warwick
• Wild Boar, Warwick

There are two main categories: Best Town Pub and Best Country Pub.

Last year, The Old Post Office in Warwick was named Pub of the Year 2025 by the Heart of Warwickshire branch of CAMRA.

The winners were chosen by CAMRA members, with each allowed to vote for three different venues, ranking them first, second and third.

This year, voters can choose up to three of the twelve nominated pubs in each category, so they have six votes in total.

The pubs were chosen based CAMRA's beer scores awarded throughout the last year:

 All members who vote will be entered into a draw to win a free ticket for the Harbury Beer & Cider Festival. 

Voting closes at midnight on 2 March 2026.
