A dementia support programme run by Coventry City Football Club has expanded into Warwick.

First launched in Coventry in November 2021, the DEMENTIA Active scheme aims to support people living with dementia or mild cognitive impairment.

Having expanded into Nuneaton and Warwick, Sky Blues in the Community is now looking for me people to get involved.

A CCFC spokesperson said: "The sessions offer a range of activities, such as: basketball, table tennis, quoits, archery, Jenga and badminton among many others.

"We support people with dementia to re-engage with activities they used to enjoy and meet people who have similar physical and cognitive difficulties.

"Sessions also act as respite for carers who are welcome to attend."
