The vaccination rates for Covid-19 in Warwick's constituency are the lowest in the county, the district council has revealed.

With only 83 per cent of people in the Warwick and Leamington constituency, Warwick District Council is urging residents to get their jabs.

The council said at such low rates "the health risks are significantly increased for the most vulnerable in our community".

Officers said they are "redoubling" efforts to encourage people to get a Covid-19 vaccination.

Despite the low vaccination rates in the last seven days local infection levels eased, falling from 367.8 per to 319.5 per 100,000 cases.
