Counter-protestors will head to Warwick next weekend as an anti-migrant protest is planned.

Patriotic Alternative is organising the protest "against mass immigration and the housing of migrants in hotels" for Saturday 7 February.

But the group Unite Against Fascism has confirmed it will also held to the Delta Hotel on the day to "stand together" against them.

"The fascist political party Patriotic Alternative have plans to hold a demonstration in Warwick on 7 February," a statement from Unite Against Fascism said.

It continued: "They hide their extreme beliefs behind 'concerns about immigration'.

"The goal of of Patriotic Alternative is to spread racial division, build their white supremacist party and move onto the next town.

"They have no solutions to the problems faced by the people of Warwick. They have no solutions to sexual violence. They do not care about victims or survivors.

"Please join our counter demonstration to stand together and show that their racism will not be tolerated in Warwick."

The protest has been triggered following the alleged rape of a 12-year-old girl in Nuneaton last year.

Two men currently stand trial over the incident.

Warwickshire Police told Nub News it is aware of the protest, adding: "As we would for any protest or demonstration, we have a robust plan in place to ensure the safety of all who are attending and the wider public."

The protest is anticipated to be held at 11am outside the Delta Hotel which currently houses asylum seekers.

Patriotic Alternative said: "We are calling on all patriots to come to Warwick at the beginning of February to protest against mass immigration and the housing of migrants in hotels.

"Speeches will be given by both Mark Collett and Laura Towler as well as by local activists.

"We want to get the year off to a big start by pushing back against one of the greatest threats to our people - illegal migrants being housed in our communities.

"We call for an immediate end to immigration and for all those here illegally to be deported."

Two men - both Afghan nationals - have since been charged over the alleged rape in July 2025 and are currently standing trial.

Ahmad Mulakhil, 23, has previously pleaded guilty to one charge of raping a child under the age of 13, but has denied two further counts as well as denying abducting a child, two counts of sexual assault, and one count of taking indecent photos of a child.

Mohammad Kabir, 24, has denied charges of intentional strangulation, committing an offence with intent to commit a sexual offence and attempted abduction.

Their trial continues.

A previous demonstration was held outside the hotel in Warwick in December.
