Here are the biggest local planning stories from the past week.
Padel Court Plans
A Warwick sports club has launched a bid to permanently install three padel courts over two of its existing tennis courts.
Warwick Boat Club was given temporary permission to keep a 'pop up' court it installed last year after a retrospective application was submitted.
Councillors at Warwick District Council allowed the court to stay in place until March 2026 as neighbours complained about the potential noise impact.
Speed Hump Deadline
Residents have just days left to have their say on a new speed hump on a busy Warwick town centre road.
Warwickshire County Council is asking for feedback on the plans for West Street, near the car park entrance for Warwick Castle.
If approved, the hump would be built on West Street between the junctions with Warwick Castle Drive and Tudor Court.
Locals have until Sunday 11 January to send in their feedback.
Laundrette Moves Forward
A self-service laundrette is set to be installed at Warwick's Tesco.
The supermarket chain and Timpson ltd has launched a joint venture to open a Johnson Laundry Kiosk at the Emscote Road store.
Council planners have signed off on the signs for the structure, which will cover two parking spaces.
