Residents have just days left to have their say on a new speed hump on a busy Warwick town centre road.

Warwickshire County Council is asking for feedback on the plans for West Street, near the car park entrance for Warwick Castle.

If approved, the hump would be built on West Street between the junctions with Warwick Castle Drive and Tudor Court.

Locals have until Sunday 11 January to send in their feedback.

A report on the council's website said: "The scheme will help improve the environment for residents, pedestrians and cyclists, by restricting vehicle speeds and improving road safety, as well as providing a step-free informal crossing point for pedestrians."

The hump would also see the existing 'pedestrian refuge' in the middle of the carriageway removed and replaced.
