A new Blue Badge system has been announced for visitor parking at Warwick Hospital starting this month.

The revamped system will also be implemented at Leamington Spa and Stratford Hospital from Monday, 27 April.

It will mean that Blue Badge holders will now have the option to register their badge for its entire validity period by either scanning the QR code or visiting the Smart Parking website.

Once registered, badge holders will not need to scan their badge at the pay station during each visit.

Upon arrival, individuals should ensure that their badge is displayed clearly within their vehicle.

South Warwickshire Foundation Trust (SWTF) shared: "Please be advised that the registration of your badge is entirely free of charge.

" The link or QR code provided will not request any bank details, credit card information, or any other form of payment."
