Generous Warwickshire businesses have joined forces with musicians, artists and volunteers in support of a charity auction raising money for vital music projects in the community.

Armonico Consort's 'Once in a Lifetime Charity Auction' takes place on 15 November (8.30pm) with over 30 once in a lifetime experiences and unique pieces going under the hammer at zero per cent premium.

Among kind-hearted local donors and supporters are Howards of Stratford Ltd, Griffin's Auctioneers & Valuers, Pragnell and The Wigley Group, alongside Roger Medwell MBE DL and Baljit Shergill.

Prizes include the chance to meet prog rock legend Rick Wakeman CBE, a tour of the Jaguar Classics Works with its former chairman Sir John Egan, an England Ashes cricket bat signed by Ashley Giles MBE and Ian Bell MBE, a music concert in your own home and a wine tasting with TV celebrity Oz Clarke.

The auction is part of Warwick-based music charity Armonico Consort's £300,000 Encore Appeal. Proceeds will fund children's choirs in deprived areas, music workshops for young people with special educational needs, and Memory Singers groups for people living with dementia.

Bidding is open now and the auction takes place at 8.30pm on Wednesday 15 November.
