A former Warwick pub, which has been converted into a luxury six-bedroom townhouse, is now on the market for £2,150,000.
Pub giant Punch Parnerships was given planning permission to turn the Zetland Arms, in Church Street, into a house last year after revealing the business was no longer viable.
Having been closed for two years before Warwick District Council gave the green light to the scheme, the grade II listed building has since been completely transformed.
"Zetland House is one of the finest family homes within the town, a most impressive example of an immaculately refurbished and renovated Grade II listed property in the heart of Warwick," the brochure from property agent Knight Frank said.
"This charming period townhouse is in a prime position close to St Mary's Church, Northgate Street and High Street.
"The attention to detail in the conversion is impressive, but most importantly, the heritage retained when converting this former public house.
"Original features include period fireplaces, sash windows, high ceilings, cornicing and architraves, exposed timbers and brickwork/stonework."
Split over four flours, the house boasts six bedrooms, a study, pilates studio, gym, wine cellar, cinema room, dressing rooms and study.
This as well as five bathrooms and a large open plan kitchen.
"The basement offers a great range of valuable and versatile spaces, which includes "The Zetland Arms" – a wine store, home gym, pilates studio and a shower room. An office/snug completes the basement accommodation," the brochure adds.
"The upper floors mirror the exacting standards of finish to that on the ground, with the first floor having an enviable principal bedroom suite comprising a double bedroom, shower room and staircase rising to a vaulted sitting room/dressing area."
When planning permission was granted last year, 18 locals objected to the plans. Many said the project would result in the loss of a valuable community asset and meeting place.
It was also argued that the Zetland Arms should remain a pub because it was distinct from others in the town having such a large beer garden which made it perfect for families.
But that space to the back of the property is now a key selling point for Knight Frank.
"To the rear is a walled, impressive garden with views of the surrounding town and St Mary's Church," the brochure says.
"Steps rise from the lower terrace to the garden, which is beautifully landscaped."
