By Nadia Sayed 30th Mar 2026
The Packmores Community is holding an 'Easter Fun Day' this Easter weekend (Saturday 4 April).
The day will feature live music, food, drink and fun for all the family.
An Easter Egg Hunt will explore the new 'Priory Pools Sensory Trail' that will be formally opened on the day.
Local residents are also encouraged to come along to also find out how the plans for the new Priory Pools Community Centre are progressing, with donations being collected on the day towards their fundraising campaign and a new survey available to complete on the day.
The event is open to all and will start at 11am at the Packmores Community Centre on Lyttelton Road in Warwick.
To attend, guests must buy a wristband for £1, and all the activities are free, includinh: a bouncy castle, face painting, live music from Sambassadors of Groove from 11.15am to 12.15pm, the chance to make a sculpture with Pangea Sculpure Centre and lots more.
The wristband also includes a hot drink and food cooked by Ann Marie from 'Get Cooking'.
Amanda Burford, Priory Pools Community Centre shared: "We hope families will join us for our Easter Fun Day and come along to enjoy all the activities on offer, but also find out more about Priory Pools Community Centre. We have been working hard to raise funds to begin building this year, and are now on the final push and need everyone's help to make it happen! We are also keen to hear what everyone would like to see in the new Centre or if they'd like to hire space or get involved. Do drop by to join in the fun, donate, find out how to support our campaign or complete our survey on your vision for our amazing new space!' "

The new 'Priory Pools Sensory Trail' will also be formally opened at 12:15 pm, having been recently been recently installed with the help of 'Friends of Priory Park' and Warwick District Council Greenspaces Team. The Sensory Trail is a short, family-friendly route through Priory Pools in Warwick. It features four interactive artworks designed to help people pause, explore and enjoy your surroundings through your senses.
The Easter Egg hunt will lead people around some of the sensory trail, but the trail will be there for everyone to explore at their own pace in the future.
The trail was designed by the University of Warwick (Creative Futures) and Pickle Illustration and was originally supported by the Friends of Christchurch Gardens and installed in their park in Leamington, before finding a home in Priory Pools, thanks to support from Warwick District Council, Priory Pools Community Centre, and Friends of Priory Park, Warwick.
Cllr Ella Billiald, Portfolio Holder for Arts, Culture and Economy, Warwick District Council shared: "We are delighted to support and launch another positive development in the Packmores area of Warwick, following the strikingly beautiful nature murals created by Brink Contemporary Arts last year. You can start anywhere in the park and follow the trail at your own pace. Each artwork includes a QR code; which you can scan with your phone to discover extra activities and information. The trail is completely free, and you can visit whenever the park is open. The artworks are positioned on existing park paths and open spaces, and even include a bird box to find. We hope you enjoy discovering the new trail which will be open over Easter and beyond!"
