A beer, gin and cider fayre supporting local brewers and distillers is set to come to the historic gardens of St John's House this May.

The event, announced by Warwickshire County Council, will take place on May 20 in the grounds of the 17th century landmark.

WCC is celebrating local brewers and distillers and there will also be street food, coffee, ice cream, children's craft activities and vintage lawn games.

There will be a family fun area with free children's craft activities and vintage lawn games in The Bowling Green Garden, as well as a picnic area for guests to bring their own food.

Locals will also be able to step back in time and take a free guided tour of St John's House including the Victorian Schoolroom and the Victorian Kitchen and Laundry.

Tours will have limited spaces and will need to be signed up for in advance.

The event will cost £3 for adults and tickets can be booked here.
