Aldi still looking to bring new store to Warwick
By James Smith 22nd May 2026
Aldi has once again asked locals to suggest a location for a new store in Warwick.
The major retailer has released its latest list of where it wants to open new stores across the UK, with 124 locations included.
Warwick is the only place in Warwickshire on the list, with nearby Coventry also included.
"We know how important it is for people to have access to affordable, high-quality food close to where they live, which is why we're asking our shoppers to help us identify the communities that would benefit most from a new Aldi store," said Jonathan Neale, managing director of national real estate at Aldi.
"Opening new stores in these areas means we can bring great value to more customers, while also creating jobs and offering industry-leading pay."
Aldi says any new site must be a minimum of 1.5km from an existing store.
The company says it has "ambitious acquisition and development plans" and prefers to "purchase freehold, town centre or edge of centre sites".
